Harness coats keep your dog warm and dry while doubling as a harness: thanks to the built-in strap with a D-ring, you clip the leash straight onto the coat – no separate harness needed. Designed for small to medium-sized dogs, ranging from waterproof rain coats to warming wool and loden-style coats. With standard and Long versions, you’ll find the right fit for every back length.

For small, short-haired dogs especially, a walk in autumn or winter usually means putting on the harness first, then the coat on top – fiddly and often uncomfortable. Our harness coats solve that more elegantly: a built-in strap with a D-ring replaces the separate harness entirely. The leash clips straight onto the coat, and the Velcro closure holds reliably – even when your dog gets a bit too excited along the way.

Because no two walks are the same, our styles also differ in material: for wet days, there are harness coats with a waterproof, windproof outer fabric that reliably protects against rain. For cool, dry days, we offer warming styles in wool-blend fabrics with a classic loden or check look, usually with a soft inner lining. What's the difference between the standard and the "Long" version?

The standard and Long versions differ only in back length - the fit around the neck and chest stays the same within a given size. The Long version suits dogs with an above-average back length within the same size.
